For Resort 2014, Nina Ricci creative director Peter Copping puts a modern, slightly deconstructed stamp on the house's fabled feminine French codes. Inspired by Provence's warm-weather colors and rustic textiles, the line includes floral eyelet, tropical tweeds, airy chiffon and signature touches of lace. Copping lends a touch of textured dishabille to an otherwise prim summer tweed jacket by styling the piece with raw serged edges. Cut with three-quarter length sleeves that let you show off your favorite bracelets, the chartreuse jacket is tailored with a curve-hugging, fit-and-flare silhouette. Wear it with the collection's matching flippy skirt to create a sexy suit, or dress the jacket down with white denim. Warm-weather textured cotton-blend tweed. Cropped, fitted cut, rounded point collar, three-quarter length sleeves detailed with inverted pleats, inverted pleats at front hem, darting on front bodice, darting and princess seams on back bodice, serge-stitched flap chest pockets, serge stitched raw-edges at neckline, sleeves and hem. Lined. Flyway front hook-and-eye front closure. Arylic/polyamide/cotton/polyester/acetate; lining: silk. Dry clean. Imported.
