The inspiration is visual, deriving from a simple yet sensual moment in time such as a rose in decadent full bloom just before it begins to wilt. Stella Eau de Parfum is based around notes of rose - a much-loved scent from the designer's childhood - complemented by a gentle touch of sparkling mandarin essence and a base of woody Amber. “I wanted a smell that reflected my English side, something very traditional,” commented McCartney.
