designed by peter svarrer, the cocoon glassware series was introduced in 2009. the cocoon glassware is as simple as its namesake – smooth, round and basic, like a caterpillar's cocoon. born in 1957, peter svarrer studied at the danish school of decorative art, graduating in 1981. he has had his own glass studio for almost 20 years and has taught at danmarks designskole and kolding school of arts and crafts. peter svarrer has been associated with holmegaard since 1997 and has been awarded several prizes and grants for his beautiful glass designs.
